AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): Tripura University students and College students who are under the University have been undergoing tensions due to the sudden decision of the University to postpone the examinations. Tripura University whose rank has gone down in the last few years is facing massive criticism since its decision to postpone the exams. Various student organizations have protested against the decision and students statewide are protesting but the University has not taken any final decision. As a result, many College students are in tension as their admission chances in other Universities are stuck. Talking to the media, a student of the Ramthakur College said, "Our examinations were scheduled to be held on September 6. We demand our exams should be completed by that time. We have already taken preparations for the exams but suddenly the University has changed its decision. Such a sudden decision was just unexpected and shocking......!"
".............Many students want to take admission in other Universities or institutions but we need our marks for that but without examinations, we will not get any new admission. So we demand, our exams should be held as per the schedule".
Another student said, "We are trying to take admission in other states' colleges but now with the postponement it has turned as a shock for us. Suddenly our exams are postponed. We demand, the University take our exams and finish the process at the earliest".
