AGARTALA, Aug 17 (TIWN): In a shocking incident, 3 workers died after inhaling toxic gases emanating from a septic tank on Tuesday.

According to the details it is known, 3 workers one after another went inside to clean a newly- constructed septic tank in Tingaria area at Suryasadan Jamatia's house, but in the end no one came out from inside the septic tank. Later another labour, who went inside the septic tank returned back somehow from inside the tank with his life in critical condition.

Immediately after the incident locals informed the Amarpur Fire Department but later with the help of locals the 3 workers were brought to Amarpur Sub-Divisional Hospital in an auto before reaching the fire department. The on duty Doctors at the hospital declared the three dead and one person is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Komen Jamatia (30), Sujit Derwama (20) and Atul Jamatia (20).
