AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has welcomed Trinamool for alliance but also scolded Trinamool Congress over their hypes on snatching Congress leaders through joining programmes.

Reacting over media questions, Pijush Biswas said that he does not take Trinamool very seriously as this might be Trinamool's fifth attempt to form a Govt in Tripura.

Biswas further claimed, Subal Bhowmik and others who joined Trinamool Congress yesterday were not actually Congress members. 

The Congress President cited ex-CM Sudhir Majumder also failed to establish Trinamool Govt in Tripura and then Ratan Chakraborty too tried but no result came out.

However, he mentioned if Trinamool can shake hand with Congress then it might see a future. 

But, it is not fully clear whether the Congress President called Trinamool for alliance with Congress or invited Trinamool members to join in Congress party as a prospective angle to defeat BJP in 2023 poll.

What Pijush Biswas signaled it was evident that if alliance happens, then Congress will be the Front Face in the alliance. 

On the other hand, Trinamool also invited Left and all opposition parties for alliance in Tripura for 2023 Assembly poll.
