AGARTALA, July 23 (TIWN): As IPFT has started Delhi visits with its 'TIPRALAND' demand 20 months ahead of the next Assembly Election, TIPRA Motha chief Pradyot Manikya has taken a dig at the IPFT over its silence with people's issues in last 40 months of BJP-IPFT Govt.
In a statement, Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya said, "Tipra Motha is the only party which is fighting in the hills for the indigenous people. IPFT kept silent when it was the Madhav Bari incident or CAA and also it was silent when the people were murdered.........IPFT has actually lost all legitimacy to fight for the people of Tripura".

"Tipra Motha is not willing to join without assured a guarantee for our demand. Tipra Motha will fight the election on its own, if the demands are not met. We are not interested in any alliance with national parties. We are interested in our constitutional rights", added Manikya.
