AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, no gathering was entertained in the Ratha-Yatra festival in Tripura.
With a very moderate crowd, the festival was completed.
The rituals were observed by the temples but people from outside the temple were allowed to make many gatherings.
ISKCON also did not invite any guests so that no crowd occurred.
Throughout the whole nation, the same is being done in all Jagannath temples due to the pandemic.
Unlike other years, the "Ratha" will be kept in the MBB College area, not in the traditional place, said a priest. ISKCON authorities asked people to enjoy Ratha-Yatra by YouTube channel and also the temple has a social media page where live updates will be coming.
