AGARTALA, May 21 (TIWN): In Jarulbachai and Dhupchhara areas under Srinagar police station, a group of miscreants wearing TSR uniform stopped a bike and snatched away Rs. 45,000 cash and mobile phones.

Based on details, three friends were returning from the market when they were stopped by a group of miscreants with guns wearing TSR uniform. Their faces were covered with black cloth. After they stopped their bike, the miscreants beaten them severely and looted their money and mobile phones showing holding pistols towards them.  

In a similar way, by showing a gun and a pistol, the group snatched a fair amount of cash from two men who were standing near an ATM in the same area and fled away, alleged the three fiends.

Later a complaint was lodged by the victims at Srinagar PS.

However, such a heinous crime has created serious tension in that area putting a question mark on the law and order of the state.
