In Tripura, Vaccine Shortage erupts Resentment among Public : Health Officials are the Ultimate Victim to Face Public Rages
Yesterday, in Belonia vaccine centre, Health Staff faced lack of security after the vaccine-deprived people came in protest breaking all social distancing.
Law Minister Ratanlal Nath in his last press conference however accepted the fact of vaccine shortage and he said, at Centre also vaccine shortage is existing.
Same situations were seen in various other vaccine centres.
However, systematic failure also can not be ruled out because being a small state Tripura Govt can easily shorten the rows of vaccine takers by sending correct information to each individual about who will get vaccine in which date and which place.
CM Biplab Deb has requested people via media to hold patience for vaccines assuring that all will get vaccines. "We have already allocated funds from the budget for the vaccine and PM Modi also has assured about 2 crores vaccines and Tripura will also get vaccines from that. Till then, people should stay in homes as much as they can".
