AGARTALA, May 15 (TIWN): In order to supply oxygen cylinders to any Covid patients including Covid positive patients in Dharmanagar, a number of oxygen cylinders were purchased with the initiative of Dharmasnagar's traditional social organization Madhyashahar Club. This project of Madhyashahar Club was inaugurated by Deputy Speaker Bishwabandhu Sen on Friday. Also Madhya Shahar club President, Biplab Bhattacharya and Secretary, Bivankur Nath also attended the programme.

Deputy Speaker Bishwabandhu Sen praised Madhya Shahar Social organization for taking initiative for common people in the current oxygen cylinder crisis situation.

In this programme, late Deepak Chakraborty, a retired teacher and late Sourav Dev, a member of the club, were tributed with garland.

At the end of the program, club secretary Bivankur Nath said that Madhya Shahar has always been serving for the people and will be served for the people.

Efforts are being made to increase the number of oxygen in the future, added the Club Secretary.
