KOLKATA, May 2 (TIWN): There is no match among the Exit Poll results and the Exact Result of West Bengal 2021 Assembly Election. Much difference between the local sentiments and Delhi base prediction of poll results was witnessed which has proven once again that the National media need more focus on the other states and work at the ground level more to understand the people's sentiment. For 'Didi' it's hat-trick ! But for Bengal this poll was a matter of prestige where TMC was successful to portray that only Didi can preserve the culture, unity of Bengal and work for development. In urban areas, TMC's victory has been landmarking and even in rural bodies also the gain was huge.It proved that Didi's developmental works helped her to gain the trust of voters. Left and Congress have resulted miserably. However, NCP president Sharad Pawar on Sunday congratulated Mamata Banerjee, whose party TMC was striding way ahead of the BJP in the counting of votes for the West Bengal Assembly polls. He said in a tweet, "Congratulations @MamataOfficial on your stupendous vicotry! Let us continue our work toward the welfare of people and tackling the Pandemic collectively.

TMC tells cadres to not celebrate We really don't want to celebrate but there was an anti-campaign against TMC : "Our workers were under pressure. This mandate has given them energy. Still, we're telling them not to celebrate due to COVID situation: Sayan Deb Chatterjee, State Secy, WB Trinamool Youth Congress"
