TIWN March 2, 2021

AGARTALA, March 2 (TIWN): Holding the highest unemployment rate in Northeast, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has recently challenged West Bengal Govt during his campaigning in West Bengal in development. Biplab Deb also asked Mamata Banerjee to come in debate with him arguing that she can't talk with him for 10 minutes. But data shows, Tripura's unemployment rate is 3 times more than West Bengal. Not only this, when Assam's unemployment rate is only 1.5%, Tripura's unemployment rate is 18.1%. After Tripura CM Biplab Deb claimed that Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee can't debate with him about Developmental issues for 10 minutes, a leading newspaper in West Bengal published Unemployment Data of both states. The paper has published however, annual data but monthly data of CMIE also say the same. As per CMIE's data on Unemployment for January, 2021, West Bengal's Unemployment is 5.2% and Tripura's Unemployment 18.1% But amid such situations, Tripura Govt terminated 92 more Contractual Employees recently and other terminations are going on.
Though some TET recruitments are going on but in compare to previous Govt almost 80% drop has been reported in Govt Jobs recruitment, specially when it is compared with the terminations of contractual employees.
Biplab Deb lighted Lies' Crackers in West Bengal boasting about Tripura's fake development under his regime. He said, Agartala Airport is Northeast's second busiest Airport, although this Airport since decades has been the second busiest Airport. He claimed that Narendra Modi has given Hira to Tripura in 2 years and now it's having HIRA-Plus. Another big lie in Bengal by Tripura CM was delivered was that his Govt gave 7th Pay Commission. which is totally fake propaganda.
