AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): After 25 years of absconding an accused in robbery and murder case was arrested by Tripura Police from Khowai.

Sahadeb Das S/o- Gouranga Das was caught by police in the charge of robbery and murders after 25 years. Various allegations of robberies and murders were reported against the accused, Sahadeb Das. But police were not able to arrest him as he was fugitive for a long time.

Later, on last Sunday based on secret sources, under the leadership of SI, Sujit Roy Police successfully arrested the accused from Bijaygiri, Diwan para of Dhalai district. On Monday, he was brought to Agartala.  Maharajganj Bazar Outpost OC, Mangesh Patari said five arrest warrants have been issued against the accused and he will be produced before court today.

He was arrested from Khowai's Bijoygiri Deoan Para.
