AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath who before 2 years had provoked Job-Lollipops in teaching career saying, there have been 14,000 vacant posts of teachers in Tripura but due to qualified candidates crisis, the Dept is incapable to recruit sufficient numbers of teachers, taking an opposite direction of his previously saying statement, now said that TET-Qualifying does not mean that the person will get job immediately but the person's name rather will go to the waiting list. However, the Minister also mentioned that few of the TET qualified persons have now become over-age and Govt is not sure, what it will do with that. Before 2 months, the Minister assured that thousands of teachers to be recruited within January 1st week but again now he said, TRBT could not give sufficient teachers for recruitment and the process of the recruitment with TRBT's permission will kick off from January 20.
Such decisions have irked the job aspirants once again who were hoping massive recruitment and had been expecting that after recruitment there will be huge numbers of post creations to conduct fresh TET.
It can be mentioned here that over 8000 teachers among 10323 teachers group were terminated and Govt was freed from their salary pays and schools are suffering from huge teachers' crisis but the Govt is seen quite busy in abolishing posts and to make the qualified unemployed youths overage by keeping them in waiting list.
