AGARTALA, Jan 6 (TIWN): BJP miscreants accused in Aiport PS contractor abduction jailed till Jan 7. The court instructed IO to submit more information in this regard.

A case has been registered against the criminals under Section 364A of IPC which states that whoever kidnaps or abducts any person or keeps a person in detention after such kidnapping or abduction and threatens to cause death or hurt to the victim shall be punishable with death, or imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable to fine.

However, the lawyers said, “though we have not received any written instruction yet we have been told that if the culprits are granted bail, there will be no witness to stand against them as they are ruling party’s hired goons and the entire area is under their threat”.
