AGARTALA, Dec 21 (TIWN): Hours after the brutal attack on journalists, Chief Minister went to attend the conference of the Forum for Development and Protection of Media Community. Within few hours of CM's statement, it was reported that total 3 journalists were attacked.

3 journalists were seriously injured by BJP hooligans when they went to cover DYFI’s convention. While the reporters were covering BJP’s brutal attack on the opposition, few goons from BDP Mandal threatened them to delete the evidence. 

The miscreants attacked Senior Photographer Prangopal Acharjee with sharp sticks. They were holding iron rods and other sharp weapons during the attack. Another reporter from The Rising Bangla Channel was also injured.

On the contrary, just after a few hours of the incident, our terrible Chief Minister went to attend the first state conference of the Forum for Development and Protection of Media Community.

How pathetic! Inside halls, Biplab Deb is giving speeches to journalists while outside, he is attacking them, interrupting their job.
