AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): It's shocking but truth that Education Minister Ratanlal Nath has called teachers smugglers for being absent in school, although the maximum teachers were in deputation in that school and others in leave except few. These are departmental issues, should not be brought before media but Minister's drama before camera has continued to insult the noble profession since he became the Education Minister. However such drug-addicted like statement is not new from the mouth of Education Minister of Tripura but before dozens of media persons, insulting teachers has become his daily work. On yesterday, he called the agitating teachers protest is a protest of CPI-M Party and on the same day, he has called absent teachers as 'smugglers'. He called the teachers smuggler during his visit in Sonamura school. Infront of dozens of media persons such remark from an Education Minister has become viral in social media, although no apology was done yet by the Minister.Â
