AGARTALA, Dec 18 (TIWN): In a major breakthrough against drug trafficking in Tripura, Security Forces apprehended a drug peddler alongwith 35 Kg dry Ganja worth approximately 3.5 lakhs on 17 December 2020.

Based on specific intelligence,Security Forces launched an operation in conjunction with state police in General Area South Kalamchoura, Sonamura Subdivision, Sepahaijhala District and apprehended an drug peddler with 35 Kgs of dry Ganja. The apprehended peddler alongwith recoveries were handed over to Kalamchoura Police Station for further investigations.
