AGARTALA, Dec 18 (TIWN): The name of state Tripura to be removed now from 'Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council' (TTAADC) and to be renamed as 'Tipra Territorial Council'.
Ahead of ADC Election, Minister Ratanlal Nath has announced this while addressing in Mohanpur. However, whether IPFT permitted for this or not, it's not sure.
Ratanlal Nath said that no other party, state govt had thought about this earlier but the BJP Govt is the only Govt for thinking about ADC like this. He said, in this regard already request has been sent to the Centre.
He also said that seats of ADC will be increased. This has been increased amid the Election Commission has been playing a puppet role to the BJP Govt by not announcing ADC Election date amid nationwide elections are going on.
