AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): Amid the “Biplab Hatao, BJP Bachao” movement, thousands of people joined the massive protest rallies led across Agartala city on December 11 by rebel MLAs like Sudip Roy Barman, Asish Kumar Saha, Sushanta Chowdhury, and Ram Prasad Pal against the attack on BJP President J. P. Nadda's convoy at West Bengal.

Unfortunately, Biplab Kumar Deb's faction who defamed the MLAs and asked them to resign from the party calling them "Dalals of Congi and CPIM" is not seen or heard yet about the incident as Deb had to cancel the mandate event he had fixed on December 13 following the intervention of Nadda.

Contradiction arose as Biplab had time to attend the marriage ceremony of  Nabadal Banik's sister but couldn't spare an hour to stage a protest for the National President of Bharatiya Janata Party. 

"When we work for the welfare of the people, the government calls us ‘beggars’ and when we condemn the attack on our party leaders, they call us ‘insurgents’. Don't know about Sanskarpanthi, but we to continue work for Public welfare and we believe in Government for the people, of the people and by the people" said MLA Sushanta Chowdhury when he was asked whether they will get criticized by the Government for organizing the protest rallies for J P Nadda.
