AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): Villagers alleged guilty Chief Minister for violation of the most basic of human rights, the right to life, as innocent civilians are dying every day due to lack of food and shelter.
It is unrealistic to envisage that people who are suffering from lack of development, poverty, hunger, and poor health could fully enjoy their human rights but unfortunately, our egoistic Chief Minister, Biplab Kumar Deb lacks the knowledge to understand the basic civil and political rights written in the constitution.
Development cannot be truly sustainable if individuals remain vulnerable to hunger, torture, oppression, and discrimination, or are deprived of their rights and fundamental freedoms, including the right to food, education, and health care.

Underdevelopment during Biplab’s era has been marked in history and his “foul talks” and “fake promises” have seriously hindered the capacity of our state to protect and promote human rights.
