AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): Amid the “Biplab Hatao, BJP Bachao” movement, thousands of people joined the massive protest rallies led across Agartala city by rebel MLAs like Sudip Roy Barman, Asish Kumar Saha, Sushanta Chowdhury, and Ram Prasad Pal against the attack on BJP President J. P. Nadda's convoy at West Bengal.

However, egoistic Biplab Kumar Deb is not seen or heard yet about the incident which comes a day after Deb canceled the mandate event he had fixed on December 13 following the intervention of Nadda.

"Don't know about Sanskarpanthi, but we to continue work for Public welfare and we believe on Government for the people, of the people and by the people", said MLA Sushanta Chowdhury when he was asked if they'll get criticized for organizing rallies in the midst of "Biplab Hatao, BJP Bachao" movement.

On being asked about yesterday's meeting held by Deb at his residence which 14 MLAs had boycotted and 6 out of 21 MLAs were forced to attend, MLA Sudip Roy Barman stated, "The one who organized the rally on December 13, canceled it. We have nothing to do with it and most of the MLAs weren't informed about the meet".
