AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): 8 gamblers were arrested by West Agartala Police today from Battala market.

Getting information from a secret source there, police raided the area and arrested them. Rs. 6000 was also recovered from them along some other equipment.

OC Jayanta Karmakar said that police are raiding large areas everyday to control such activities and such anti-gambling drive by West Agartala PS will not stop.
