AGARTALA, Dec 10 (TIWN): On Human Rights Day, senior Advocate of Tripura High Court Purushottom Roy Barman, who is also the Secretary of Human Rights Organization has strongly criticized the Govt of India and also Tripura Govt for violating human rights everyday.

Addressing media, Purushottom Roy Barman has mentioned how the opposition voices are suppressed and permission for rallies are not given to the opposition parties, agitating people.

"Free speech, freedom to marry anyone, freedom to oppose are the fundamental rights but it is seen how the freedom is being snatched everyday and human rights are violated in the recent times. In the name of Love Jihad in our state also, a tensed situation was created recently and such incidents are total violation of human rights", said Roy Barman.
