AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): As number of AIDS Patients at rise in Tripura, Education MInister Ratanlal Nath in advanced has blamed the Left Govt with accusation of 'Suppressing' data. On 'World AIDS Day', declining the increasing AIDS Patients numbers data, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said that actually AIDS patients numbers were already high in Left Govt's time but former Health Minister Badal Choudhury had suppressed the data. "Suppression can not solve the problems", said Ratanlal Nath. Minister Ratanlal Nath also accused the former Left Govt for suppressing numbers of sex workers in Tripura saying, Tripura has more than 4,000 sex workers but Badal Choudhury led Health Dept kept the data hidden. "Our Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb believes in transparency and has given clear order that the original figure should come out. Numbers of tests have increased under BJP Govt and that is the reason why AIDS patients numbers have also shown increased", said Ratanlal Nath on World AIDS Day programme on Tuesday. CM Biplab Deb was also present on the occasion of World AIDS Day.
"God controls birth and deaths but it can't control the ongoing life of humans and thus if you know determine that you will not get AIDS, nothing can give you AIDS", said Ratanlal Nath in his IDS awareness statement.
