AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): Agartala-Silchar train services have been resumed after long shutdown since the COVID-19 Lockdown period. 

The decision was taken as the state has controlled COVID-19 and the death rates have also been decreased.

Passengers have expressed happiness over the resuming of the services as flight ticket prices remain high, not affordable for all the people, specially those who are regular travellers.
