AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): Road and Railways services have been affected in various places as TPF party, a regional party has called on strike in ADC areas in protest against Panisagar violence. Out of 2 deceased, TPF Party is agitating against the killing of Biswajit Debbarma, a Firemen (belongs to indigenous community) died in the violence on 21st November The violence developed amid protest of Joint Movement Committee over Bru settlement issue, followed by Police firing on agitators which left one spot-dead. Agitators alleged that no tear-gas, water-cannons were used before firing but police claimed that when police were preparing for force violent attacks took place on police officials. Total 35 persons were injured including police and 2 died. From morning today, protests were done and roads kept blocked. Passengers in Sabroom Railway station was seen waiting for trains but due to blockade on roads, the trains did not start for long.
