AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): Public response to CPI-M's called strike will prove the majority support as BJP and CPI-M both in campaigning against or in support of the strike. CPI-M's campaigning however is going on across Tripura but BJP is focusing mainly in the capital city Agartala, although attacks and threats have been reported throughout Tripura. MLA Ram Prasad Pal organized a rally with loud-speaker voicing against CPI-M rally whereas the CPI-M's campaigning in all subdivisons continue at full swing. In this condition, public will give their ultimate response to prove with which party they are actually.
Previously, CPI-M called strikes were succeeded in state amid BJP is the ruling party. Statewide attacks were also reported and local BJP activists in various places have threatened the CPI-M not to organize any programme or to open party offices.
State Tripura is already reeling under violence due to various protests and strikes in state and amid such situations public are reportedly scared of the law and order credibility of the state.
