AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): CPI-M on Monday has organized statewide movement in support of Strike on November 26. In Belonia, CPI-M's rally was stopped by force by police but the party still held a gathering rally. This strike will be with various demands including state related issues which will be raised as unemployment, 10323, social pension deprivation etc.CPI-M activists on Monday organised rally at Amarpur centering the upcoming strike on 26th November called by CPIM. The rally kicked off from the area infront of Subdivisional party office of Amarpur then the walked different areas of the main town and ended it infront of the office again. A lot of people joined the rally. While addressing media one CPIM leader said, "We have called the strike against the State government's negligence on public suffering. During this time of world pandemic when daily workers are loosing their way of earning and people are starving for food, the government preferred to remain silent. We have demanded 7000 rupees for six months for the families who doesn't count in tax-paying list".
"And free ration items for the daily workers and poor people. But the government did not fulfill any of them. Instead they are bringing pain in common people's life by implementing such dangerous laws like Farm Bill, 2020"
"We also strongly condemn the idea of privatising government sectors and giving the power of the country to the hands of few corporates."
The CPI-M supporters requested the people to co-operate and observe the strike on 26th November to create pressure on the State Government regarding the degrading condition of Tripura.
