AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath in an announcement after Cabinet meeting has stated that (Central Board of Secondary Education) CBSE is much pleased with Tripura Education Dept for its proper implementation of NCERT curriculum in Govt Schools. Addressing media, Nath said, "Tripura Govt has requested CBSE to affiliate 20 more high and higher secondary English Medium schools. Earlier 20 schools already were affiliated by CBSE. No other state would get such consideration but as CBSE is much happy with our works, it is now ready to affiliate more schools". The schools will cover 5859 students from Dhalai, Sepahijala, North, Gomati, West, Unakoti Districts. In last 20 schools there are total 19,643 students and their registrations are also done. However, with the announcement raised questions about the future of Employment Generation via TET / TRBT in Tripura as earlier over 900 schools were already shutdown by the BJP Govt here along shutting down doors of local employments.
