AGARTALA, Nov 15 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb in a programme has said that the OPTC and Gramin Bank are now involved in various social works but such works were not seen before the BJP Govt had been in power.

Citing example, CM said that recently few families came to him requesting him to manage financial assistances for their child's study in abroad. He called OTPC and it had adopted those students.

He also described, how Tripura Gramin Bank too all responsibilities for Priyanka Dasgupta, gymnast. 

"Such works could happen earlier also but it did not happen. Why is it happening now ?", CM asked.
