AGARTALA, Nov 14 (TIWN): Built in 1948, Gandhighat has witnessed a dirty, cheap politics under the BJP Govt where not a single flower was offered to Independent India's first Prime Minister Jawharlal Nehru on his birth anniversary. For the first time in Tripura's history, India's First Prime Minister, Freedom Fighter Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary has not been observed by Tripura Govt. Every year at Gandhighat floral tributes is being paid to Jawaharlal Nehru by any Minister and Govt officers but breaking all traditions Nehru was rejected to pay tribute in Tripura. Indeed, the BJP Govt has almost banned the former Prime Minister because of his political ideology. However, what is the irony is that the former Congress MLAs also were not allowed even to post a social media update on Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary.
What can be Expected from "Coward" Savarkar's Party ?
On being asked, Tripura Congress President Pijush Biswas said that he is 'deeply' hurt and all are just 'shocked' to see BJP's hate politics. Pijush Biswas added, "Nation will not forgive the BJP".
