AGARTALA, Nov 13 (TIWN): CPI-M Party has rubbished the data of Law Minister Ratanlala Nath on his claims about highest MGNREGA works in BJP era.

Addressing media, CPI-M Party Secretary said at Melarmath Party headquarter that not only MGNREGA, but TUEP works also have decreased. There is no line dept works also happening under the BJP era leading the state to an extremely financial condition.

The Secretary said that the all data are false which has been claimed Ratanlal Nath on yesterday about mandays of MGNREGA.

The CPI-M leader further alleged many BJP workers in the name of group leaders are swallowing the benefits.

He also cited how people are committing suicide out of poverty and in such situations, how the Govt has slashed true beneficiaries from social pensions beneficary list. 

As per the Law Minister's statement, the mandays year-wide in comparison are :

2017-18 FY : 404.40 crores

2018-19 FY : 435.40 crores

2019-20 FY : 731.18 crores

2020, till November : 877.22 crores

2017-18 FY : 1.76 crores

2018-19 FY : 2.53 crores

2019-20 FY : 3.44 crores

2020, till 11th November : 2.71 crores
