AGARTALA, Nov 11 (TIWN): When daily workers are alleging everyday about acute crisis situations, CM Biplab Deb was addressing in a blood donation camp in Agartala Satadal Sangha when he said that no one is starving in Tripura. To avoid controversy, Deb said that its witness is he himself who has seen in his own eyes that people are buying dresses with rice selling amounts. Thus, Deb has put himself in Testimony of Witness. He said, "There are lots of rumours that people are dying without getting food but I have information that people have that much of rice at homes that they are now selling rice stocks and buying something else. They are indeed buying sarees"."I have seen this in my own eyes. This is proven through my eyes because Modi has freed rice till November. Tripura Govt also gave free rice for a certain period of time", said Deb.

He also claimed that all reports on starving is to spread rumours against the Govt's good works.
