AGARTALA, Nov 10 (TIWN): Assam Rifles Public School, Agartala has been conferred The Transforming Education Transforming India 2020 Award by the Lovely Professional University Punjab.

The award has been conferred for the North Eastern Zone of the country which includes the seven sister states and West Bengal.

​The award ceremony took place at the campus of Lovely Professional University, Punjab in the Presence of the Governor of the state, His Excellency V P Singh Badnore as the chief guest. In the keenly contested competition of as many as 3,500 nominations from Northern Zone and over 13,000 nominations from all over the nation.

Assam Rifles Public School, Agartala stood out to be the First school from the North East states to bag the award. 3.​The award recognizes the school’s monumental work in the field of Education and the endeavor of the students, teachers, Principal and management of the school.
