AGARTALA, Nov 9 (TIWN): Calling price hike information "rumour", Chief Minister Biplab Deb while addressing media in a 'Vocal for Local' programme in Agartala on Monday has asked his state's people to compare the prices with previous years, claiming price has been downed than previous years. "In other years, huge imports from outside happened earlier but this year all products are local, because the Govt of Tripura has enabled these changes. Price was never increased. Indeed, prices were decreased in this year", said CM Biplab Deb asking public to make a comparative study from 2016. He also asked public to thank the Government for this great change in market prices. The statement came from CM Biplab Deb amid officials under West District amid their regular visits have expressed resentments over illegal prices of commodities. However, amid all these, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has claimed that he will produce a data on how prices of vegetables are at down in 2020 even than 2016 in state Tripura.
