AGARTALA, Nov 6 (TIWN): To motivate unemployed youths to be Job-Creators, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has introduced "Bamboo Candles", saying that Bamboo products will definitely help to reduce unemployment problems.
"Youths have to be competitive. Nobody can rely upon the Govt only. Job creators only can help the state to deduct unemployment issues", said Deb.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb today also has launched locally made pineapple jelly today in the Secretariat after self-help group women showed him the products. However, although pineapple jelly is a very traditional product and these made home to home from centuries, but Deb has claimed it will generate "employment" with proper marketting. Today, he also launched Bamboo-Candles, saying, this will boost robust employment.
However, Tripura BJP before election had promised to give 50,000 Govt jobs in first one year but after 2 and half years have gone, job generation in Govt Depts are although at low but termiantions of contractual employees remained high. Tripura also tops in Northeast in unemployment rate.
