AGARTALA, Nov 5 (TIWN): Administrative drive for mask-wearing and price rates have been continuing in Agartala markets.

On Thursday, at Durga Chowmuhani the drive was done and the officials checked  prices of commodities. Penalties were imposed for not wearing masks properly or for not wearing mask totally. 

But the customers have alleged that even though officials are visiting but there is no down of the illegal and extra charge taking by the shop-keepers and thus such drives remained an eyewash.

On the other side, administration is trying its level best to keep the market price under control. Many shops were also imposed with hefty penalties for charging items illegally.
