'Crime against Women has decreased 30%', claims SP West

AGARTALA, Nov 5 (TIWN): SP, West District Manik Das in a press conference on Thursday at the Police headquarter has said that Crime against Women has decreased in his District.
He mentioned, "Crime against women has reduced around 30% in the West District".
However, he said that under NDPS, numbers of cases have been increased. Till October, 2020 total 74 cases under NDPS were registered this year, which is higher than 2018 comparatively. Total 129 accused persons have been arrested in total. Contraband items' seizing are also under process.
