AGARTALA, Nov 2 (TIWN): Tripura Bar Association and High Court Bar Association have placed deputation to DGP over increasing attacks on Lawyers.

The move was taken after two lawyers were attacked in the Court presmise and police although arrested only one person but no proper investigation was done in the incident.

 A group of miscreants held attacks on two lawyers and although at first police caught an accused red-handed, but later huge numbers of Bajrang Dal members entered the police station and asked police to release the arrested man. Then police did not sought any custody for the accused person while producing him in court on the next day. Centering the incident heavy resentment fueled among the Lawyers.
