AGARTALA, Nov 2 (TIWN): In the ongoing onslaught against the intensive ganja cultivation in Madhupur, the Madhupur police and TSR Jawans jointly destroyed huge amount of weed plants on yesterday afternoon.

In an operation of 6 long hours the police personnel and TSR Jawans destroyed 6 lakhs 30 thousand Weed plants. The operation was implemented on Radhanagar Panchayat area under Kamalasagar Constituency.

The operation was led by Madhupur PS's OC Tapash Das. He said that such operations will be continued in future days also.
