UDAIPUR, Oct 23 (TIWN): A 13 years old boy named Swarup Debnath, S/O-Partha Debnath, student of Udaipur Assam Rifles has decorated Goddess Durga with pieces of old clothes and papers.

The Class-7 students also used soil, glue and colour to shape the idol. Along with Durga, Laxmi, Saraswati, Kartik, Ganesh, Mahishashur and others were also given place. 

Reportedly, Swarup Debnath trained himself from videos and google searches.  He also has one YouTube channel with followers.

Durga puja started from Maha-Shasthi on yesterday and today is Maha Saptami. After Astami and Navami, with Dasami, Durga puja will be concluded. However, due to COVID-outbreak, this year major section of people are choosing to stay in home and enjoy virtual Durga puja.
