AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Congress on Saturday held massive protest curriculum in Agartala against Central's Farm Bill 2020. A huge force of police was implemented on road to stop their curriculum. Congress State President Pijush Kanti Biswas said, "Farmers are the spine of a nation. If the farmer is weak then the nation's development will never be possible. But today in India Narendra Modi led Central Government brought this black law against farmers to loot them. The Modi govt made it easier for the corporate sector and few industrialists to get profit out of poor farmers hard work." "PM Modi's much hyped demonetisation was only to convert the black money of his industrialist friends to white money because they are the one to help him during election times. Not a single rupee of black money came to India out if this scheme instead 42 lakhs people lost their jobs," added the leader.Congress's today's protest was against the Central's Farm Bill 2020. The agitators strongly demanded to withdraw this law in order to save the farmers of this country.
While addressing on that occasion, Congress President Pijush Biswas said that people of Tripura now want a Congress Govt as they frustrated under BJP rule followed by 25 years of CPI-M's misrule.
Addressing on that occasion, Biswas said, when before polls, Narendra Modi promised about giving Rs. 15 lakhs to poor but after election, this promsie is no more heard. Now, to ruin the farmers and to work in the interest of the rich people, Narendra Modi Govt is working.
The Congress party organized a protest against the Farm-bill in which Pijush Biswas was addressing.
