AGARTALA, Oct 9 (TIWN): CPI-M has gheraoed Director of Health Dept's office seeking Rs. 10 lakhs of compensation to the COVID-deceased's family members. The compensation was announced by the State Govt earlier but till now, no compensation has been given to anyone. Also, Govt had promised to give Rs. 1,500 per family who are COVID patients along with other helps but that promise also has not been fulfilled. In protest over the unfulfilled promises, CPI-M has gheraoed the Director office today.
