AGARTALA, Aug 30 (TIWN): Reacting over the unemployment problems of Tripura, State Congress President Pijush Biswas has asked the Govt of Tripura on Sunday to take initiatives to recruit employees soon in various depts as unemployment rates are increasing at alarming rate and at the same time, various departments are holding vacancies. Through a press meet today, the Congress President has also rubbished Tripura Govt’s claim over 10,000 Job Recruitment saying, “Just like Narendra Modi Govt is lying at Delhi, in the same way, Tripura Govt is lying here. In a statement it has been said that ten thousand jobs have been given. If given, where are those jobs ? We did not spot any such job. So, this claim is a big lie”. The Congress President also requested Tripura Govt to recruit the terminated 10323 teachers in alternative posts at the earliest. The former teachers are jobless for last 5 months, although BJP before election verbally and also in Vision Document had promised them to save their livelihoods.

Talking about the 10323 teachers issue, the Congress President said that after Supreme Court’s verdict, there is no problem in recruiting the former teachers in other posts.
