AGARTALA, Aug 28 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M demands economic helps to various sections of people suffering due to Containment zones.
Today, a meeting held between CM and CPI-M MLAs where the CPI-M MLAs raised the issue of economic problems faced by a large sections of people due to COVID-outbreak, siting how the containment zone’s needy people are suffering there.
According to opposition leader Manik Sarkar’s statement, CM Biplab Deb has said, the Govt is already working on that ground and this issue will be taken care.
Also employment of unemployed Doctors and Nurses were demanded.
In a meeting with Tripura CM, CPI-M MLAs led by former CM Manik Sarkar has requested him. This meeting was held after 509 COVID positive patients were tested in state.
In a meeting with CM Biplab Deb, Manik Sarkar requested him to take step to increase laboratories in hospitals.
The CPI-M team led by Manik Sarkar requested CM to conduct everyone’s tests whoever entering Tripura after travelling. Sarkar said, CM Biplab Deb has reportedly agreed with the opposition leaders.
The team also talked about the cleanliness and more testing’s necessities with the CM. Enough PPEs supplies have been also requested in the meeting covering all including kitchen workers.
Containment areas are causing economic problems in many families and fruitful discussion held to solve the issue today.
