AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): CPI-M’s rally on Wednesday turned larger than expectation, joined by many voters who voted for BJP in 2018.
Although police arrested top leaders but could not arrest all due to the limited numbers of buses there and Police arrested top leaders including Ex-CM Manik Sarkar.
However, former CM Manik Sarkar was detained under police’s request and Manik Sarkar today asked comrades to cooperate with police as police are not anyone’s enemy. But, the CPI-M agitators stopped the bus and brought back Manik Sarkar from bus and the bus remained immovable due to protest.
