AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): A baby has died before birth in IGM hospital and the patient party has alleged that Doctors did not complete the delivery in time because it was Sunday and amid much worries, the delivery was postponed till Monday.

But today after sonography it was found that the baby is dead.

The pregnant woman named Manju Debnath, resident of Bishalgrah Jangalia felt that baby’s movement is less. Her delivery date was 27 August. But she was immediately brought to Bishalgarh hospital and then shifted to Hapania and then IGM hospital.

At first Doctors checked and said, baby is okay. The medical staffs continued care but the delivery was not possible as they were saying that it’s Sunday.

But today morning after sonography it was found that the baby died.

The family has blamed the Health Dept alleging, negligence snatching poor people’s lives.
