AGARTALA, Aug 17 (TIWN): A huge success of Madhupur police led by OC Tapash Das. The Madhupur police with TSR Jawans jointly destroyed huge numbers of weed plants. The destroyed plant's market value is more than lakhs, said police.
Reportedly, depending on a secret information Madhupur police under the lead of OC Tapash Das and TSR Jawans jointly raided over 15 nurseries in Konaban and Radhanagar area.These areas fall under Kamalasagar constituency.
Police destroyed all the weed plants. Police informed that the market price of these destroyed plants will be 4.45 lakhs. Police has taken a case and started investigating about the ownership of these nurseries. However, no arrest is reported till now.
Madhupur police informed that, such raids against drug and weeds under 'Neshamukt Tripura' will be continued.
