AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Addressing in an agitation programme led by CPI-M, Gana Mukti Parishad (GMP) President Jitendra Choudhury has stated that BJP Govt’s Tana-Shahi will not work out and protest will be continued.
“Today people are unable to raise voices, whereas rapists and criminals are at their paradise and the crime spree on air”, he added.

“In Centre, Modi Govt is working to lock the people, suppress voice and in Tripura, the Biplab Deb Govt is doing its Tana-Sahi”, Jitendra Choudhury told media.
“Today, country is independent but lots of problems have gripped the country. Against them, we have to raise our voices. Our protest is not against the country but the against the Govt. We will continue protest”, he added.
He also compared Biplab Deb Govt with British Govt in use of police mechanism.
