Agartala: Tripura has reported three incidents of rape including two gang rapes in Khowai district amid the Coronavirus pandemic. A 17-year-old girl was raped by five persons in a car on Tuesday.

The girl was raped by the five when she went to Chakmaghat to meet her boyfriend. The victims are a resident of Mungiakami village.

According to sources, one of the rapists was her relative who assured to drop her home in a car but there were four more youths in the car with the relative. The girl was gang raped by the five. She was later dumped at Teliamura in front of the branch office of UBI bank.
