AGARTALA / KAMALPUR, July 12 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar along with top leaders as Badal Choudhury, Sudhan Das visited Kamalpur, where CPI-M Party activists, leaders were attacked, beaten severely by BJP workers. A person among them was attempted to be murdered. Slamming the BJP Govt over public's safety issue, Manik Sarkar said, "On the one side, the BJP Govt can not provide food to the people but on the other side, they are expert in violence and hitting, beating, punching" ! Sarkar mentioned about 10323 teachers, who were promised by the BJP before election to give alternative jobs but now, instead of jobs, they are attacked, terrorized. Manik Sarkar also said, “If BJP Govt wants, it can give the 10323 teachers jobs right now as the previous CPI-M Govt already made posts. Supreme Court earlier had put stay order on those them and later it was withdrawn. So, easily the teachers can be appointed now”.

Manik Sarkar further compared the previous CPI-M Govt with '1 piece Golden Egg laying Duck' and Voters who cut the Duck to get all Eggs together but got Nothing just like they are devastated after Voting for BJP.
